NY Rangers: For the first time this season, the New York Rangers are above .500. The Blueshirt’s came into this game riding a hot streak, winning 6 of their last 10 games. The trend continued with a Rangers win at MadisonSquare Garden by the score of 4-3. The Panthers are now losers of 9 straight.

After some back and forth action, J.T. Miller got the Rangers on the board first with a spectacular tic-tack-toe pass from Chris Kreider and Ryan McDonagh. It is sure to make some highlight reels. The Panthers would then get on the board themselves with a 3rd chance Power-Play goal by Florida’s Aleksander Barkov late in the first.

The beginning of the second period belonged to the Panthers. Lundqvist had to stand on his head, and he did just that.

Brian Campbell helped his team regain the lead thanks to some help from Ryan McDonagh’s backside, the post, and Henrik Lundqvist’s skate. Derek Dorsett grabbed his own rebound at the side of the net to notch everything at 2.

Brad Richards would break the 2-2 tie with a snapshot, beating the Vezina winning Tim Thomas. He later would add an assist on a goal by Mats Zuccarello on the PP.

SPECIAL NOTES: Brad Richards has 13 points in 16 games this season. 10 different Rangers recorded at least one point. Brian Campbell scored his first 2 goals of the season.
