NY Knicks: The Knicks introduced their new acquisitions today: Jason Kidd and Marcus Camby are officially NY Knicks. Kidd was signed to back up Jermey Lin. How lucky is Lin to have someone like Jason Kidd to teach him how to be an NBA player? Kidd is the ultimate professional, a point guard during his heyday who was one of the top five guards in the game.
With the addition of Marcus Camby the Knicks have upgraded their bench. This is Marcus ‘s second stint with the Knicks. During his last stint he teamed up with Latrell Sprewell and Larry Johnson, that team that went to the NBA finals in 1999. Hopefully for Knicks fans it will be deja vu all over again.
The team also re-signed J.R. Smith and Steve Novak to multi-year deals.
