The Mets are coming off of a rough two weekend losses to the Marlins and certainly were in need of their off day on Monday. The Mets played 30 innings this weekend, back to back extra inning games, and dropped both to a last place team.

First they will host the team with the most wins in baseball, the St. Louis Cardinals. The Mets previously lost three out of four to the Cardinals about a month ago. The big game to watch this week is on Thursday as Matt Harvey will take his undefeated record against Cardinals’ ace Adam Wainwright.
