Veteran Kurt Thomas Steps Up, Rookie Pablo Prigioni Starts & Knicks Snap 4 Game Losing Streak!

Listed as game time decision Kurt Thomas had no idea he would be playing considering x-rays showed a bone spur on his right foot.
His number was called and the 40 year old veteran stepped up to play. Thomas played 27 minutes off the bench that included 6 points three rebounds and season high three blocks. His effort earned him the game ball.
Knicks beat Utah 90-83 in the last game of the five away games. Without Tyson Chandler, Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire the team had been struggling and lost four of the five away games.
This was a much needed win and NY earned the number 3 spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs one spot ahead of NJ Nets.
J.R. Smith scored 20 points, including 18 in the second half, Raymond Felton had 19 buckets for the team.
Rookie guard Pablo Prigioni made his first NBA start, finishing with three points, three assists and two rebounds.
