NY Knicks: The Knicks were back at MSG on Wedensday to face the Eastern Conference leading Indiana Pacers. The Pacers are off to an amazing start 9 and 1 on the season.  Things have been tough for Knicks, currently they are at the bottom of the conference with a record of 3 and 7. Losing Tyson Chandler to a broken leg has affected the teams chemistry. Chandler is expected to be out for at least another three weeks. Kenyon Martin has been added to the starting line up in place of Chandler.

The Knicks have lost their last six games at home.  Raymond Felton was out of the lineup with a hamstring and hip problem, Beno Udrich got the start a point guard. Amar’e Stoudimer did not play do to medical restrictions. Throughout the first half the Knicks defensive intensity kept the Pacer on their heels. At one point in the first quarter the Knicks lead the Pacers by 11 points.

Carmelo was a demon on the boards gabbing a career high 18 rebound. Melo lead the team in scoring with 30 points as well. In his second start Beno Udrich chipped in with 18 points. J.R Smith added 21 point of the bench, but Knicks fall to the Pacers 1n overtime 103 to 96.

After the game Knicks coach Mike Woodson ” I can’t fault our effort; the effort was great after a back to back. Woodson defended Iman Shumpert as well, for the foul on Indiana superstar Paul George. It appears as if the Knicks are snake bitten, what could go wrong down streach of games does go wrong for this team.
