Revis Out: Torn ACL

NY Jets: The Jets received bad news on Monday that Darelle Revis will be out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL.  Revis suffered the injury yesterday during the Jets win over the Miami Dolphins.  The injury occurred on a non-contact move, as Revis attempted to make a cut and went down grabbing his left knee.

Revis had just returned to action after suffering a concussion in the first game of the season when he was accidently hit in the head by his own teammate, Bart Scott.   With Darrelle out of the mix, the question has to be asked:  Can the Jets win without their best player?

The answer should be yes.  Back-up Kyle Wilson will be forced into action.  Wilson struggled in the Miami game making the proper adjustment. Now he has to step up his game to fill in for all-pro Revis.  The test will come on Sunday as the Jets face the San Francisco 49er’s at MetLife Stadium.
