Sheraton Hotel NYC: The One Hunderd Black Men held it’s 39th Gala to honor men of color who have had an impact their communities. One of the honoree’s this was Benjamin B. Tucker of the New York City Police Department. Officer Tucker has been a member of the department since 1969 as an office trainee.
He became a Police Officer in 1972 and was promoted to sargent in 1987. During his 22 years with NYPD, Mr. Tucker performed in numerous rolls. Following his career with the New York City Police Department, Mr. Tucker continue to serve his commuinty in public service in serveral goverment agencies.
Frist Deputy commisioner Tucker holds a Bachelor Of Science degree from John Jay College of crimanal justice.
