The Brooklyn Nets continue to make headlines this off-season. About a week and a half after pulling off a blockbuster trade from Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Jason Terry, the Nets added more depth signing Andrei Kirilenko and Shaun Livingston. There is no doubt that the Nets contain one of the top lineups in the Eastern Conference.

Jason Kidd should have no excuses when it comes to talent. Rookie head coach has a plethora of pieces and championship or bust is the way the Nets are approaching this season. Net fan or not, you have to appreciate the dedication that Owner Mikhail Prokhorov has shown in his quest to bring the Larry O’Brien trophy to Brooklyn within his 5-year plan.

Kirilenko has a career average of 12.4 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. He will be an excellent option come off the bench and give KG a rest. The Nets also signed Shaun Livingston, who the team is high on. General Manager Billy King released the following statement regarding Livingston. “Shaun’s abilities give our roster added versatility in the backcourt,” said King. “His basketball acumen and the way he plays the game are a great fit for this team.” There is no doubt the Nets are all in this season, and see this season as an opportunity to dethrone the back-to-back champion Miami Heat.
