Louisville Escapes Battle With Seton Hall

Point guard Peyton Siva scored 14 points along with 6 steals as Louisville defeated Seton Hall 61-55 in the Big East Tournament Second Round.  This matchup was a close affair with Louisville leading by only a point heading into halftime. Once the final half began, it was a barrage of missed opportunities for Seton Hall and Louisville was able to capitalize on that.

Players like Kuric and Dieng had strong second half performances. Kyle Kuric contributed 13 points and big man Gorgui Dieng added 10 rebounds.

The loss by Seton Hall places them on the edge of the NCAA Tournament bubble with a slight chance that they might be selected on selection Sunday this week.

The Louisville win sets them up for a Quarterfinal matchup against #2 Marquette tomorrow night at 7:00pm.
