The Knicks’ 8 game home stand is coming to a close where they are 3-3, winning their last three games against the Bobcats, Lakers and Celtics. Their winning streak included Carmelo Anthony’s career and Knicks’ franchise record scoring 62 points against the Bobcats. He is averaging 40.3 points per game during their winning streak.

Carmelo Anthony is not the only one contributing big offensively, the Knicks made slight adjustments and are playing small ball. After Andrea Bargnani’s torn ligament in his left elbow, they have been starting two point guards, Raymond Felton and Pablo Prigioni, resulting in strong ball movement. The fluid offense has lead to a more energized and confident Knicks team that is actually making their shots.

The Knicks scored 52.3% from the field in their last matchup and tonight they will look to continue their offensive efforts. However, their biggest challenge is to contain Kyrie Irving, who will be joining Carmelo Anthony as a starter for the eastern conference team in the upcoming All-Star game.

The Knicks are 2 games ahead of the Cavs in 10th place of the Eastern Conference and they will close out their home stand against 2x defending Champions, Miami Heat.
