April 25, 2015, Brooklyn, NY  Thaddeus Young is not done.  And neither are the Nets.  Home is where the heart is, home is where you can feel most comfortable, and home is where the Brooklyn Nets returned to on Saturday afternoon. They played better in game two on the road and came into this game with some confidence.

The Nets began the game on fire from the opening tip. The offense was flowing, the ball was moving, and by the end of the first quarter, they led Atlanta 31-16, their biggest lead at any point during this season. The Nets finally remembered that Brook Lopez was on the court and fed the big man early and often. Brook finished with 22 points and 13 rebounds, by far his best game of the series, shooting the ball 18 times while getting quality touches on the offense end. Thaddeus Young also rebounded from a disastrous game two where he only scored 2 points. Today he shot 50% from the field and finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds giving the Nets great production. One of the sparks for the Nets was Bojan Bogdanovic. He had a great game today, and he converted three of his three point attempts and tallied 19 points.

The Hawks seemed to be out of sync all game. Kyle Korver went 1-8 from the field and just could not get on track from behind the arc.  Jeff Teague also had a woeful game, shooting just 4-13 from the floor and turning the ball over 4 times. The Hawks high scorer was Demarre Carroll who finished with 22 points and had the hot hand for most of the game, shooting 9-12 from the field. Al Horford struggled from the field as well and was not much of a factor in this game.

The Nets had the momentum for most of the game, however, the Hawks made a brief run after the Hawks Paul Millsap converted a layup with 4:02 left in the third. However Thaddeus Young went on a personal 6-0 run to help the Nets regain the momentum in the game.

This was a great win for the Nets; they avoided a sweep and proved to themselves and the Hawks that if they played well on the offensive end and defended the 3-point line, they can be competitive in this series. The Nets answered a few questions in this game, they defended the 3-point line, and they kept Teague out of the lane while limiting his play making to disrupt the Hawks offense. However, even with this win, the Nets still do not have an answer to one of the most pressing questions in this series. Where is Deron Williams? Once again he only had one made field goal in this game and did not have an impact in this game. With his inability to contribute while he is on the floor should the Nets look elsewhere for production from the point guard position?
