Eli Manning was not looking sharp early on. He fumbled the ball twice (one that was recovered, the other out of bounds) and threw what should have been a pick six, but was dropped by Darren Walls. Eli had Rueben Randle open deep twice, but under-threw him on both plays. The one Randle was good enough to come back to and pick up a 26 yd gain. Eli finally woke up after what seemed to be an interception by Kyle Wilson was called incomplete. He hit two big plays to Victor Cruz and then finally connected on a Rueben Randle touchdown.

  • The Giants defense improved on last weeks performance, but the score didn’t show it all. Geno Smith missed a huge throw to Eric Decker that killed what would have been a scoring drive. Eric Decker dropped a ball in the end zone on a drive that resulted in a field goal.

  • Rashad Jennings showed flashes of great potential for the Giants once again. He was 13 for 67 yds and averaged 5.2 yards per carry. This game further validated the value I see in having him this season for the Giants.

  • Victor Cruz finally got things going on the Giant’s last drive of the half. He finished the half with 4 receptions for 61 yards.
