NY Knicks: The Knicks are back at Madison Square Garden to face the run and gun Denver Nuggets, and one time Knickerbocker Danilo Gallinari a fan favorite at MSG. Gallinari was traded last season to the Nuggets along with Wilson Chandler and Timofey Mozgoz. In return the Knicks got there man Carmelo Anthony, perennial all-star to team up A’mare Stoudemire.

The Knicks are in the midst of a five game loosing streak, where the team just doesn’t seem comfortable with each other. They are struggling on the defensive end allowing the oppostion to score at will. Hopefully they can find some coensinecy out there tonight.

A very impressive first half for the Knicks, as they were able to withstand the high scoring Nuggets. A’mare Stoudemire got it started with two quick basket. The Knicks understand how important this game is, another lost at home would be their six in a row and there fourth at home..

Early in the second quarter the bench lead by Tony Douglas, was able to push the lead out to 10 points. That’s a good thing for Knicks they play better when leading games. Bill Walker really had it going in the second quarter draining three’s he was the leading scorer in the first half with 13 points, Knicks lead 54 t0 46 at the half..

In the beginning of the Third Quarter things began to change as the Nuggets picked up the defense only allowing the Knicks 18 points in the third quarter. It was all Nuggets in the fourth as former Knick Al Harrington caught fire from downtown. He was 3 or 3 in the quarter, scoring 15 points. Pushing the Nuggets lead to six with 4:30 left in the quarter. The Knicks would battle back to tie the game and force overtime.

The Knicks battled the Nuggets in two overtime finally losing 119 to 116 the final..
