With both conference semi-finals evened at 2 games apiece, the Wizards, Hawks, Warriors and Grizzlies are all in position to win the pivotal game 5 of their respective series. Both series have been hard fought with each team winning on each other’s home court.

The Wizards have announced that their all-star point guard John Wall is available and will return to the lineup tonight. He is coming of an injury that has changed the pace of the Wizards offense and the series itself. Their opponent, the Atlanta Hawks are at home tonight and are looking to win this game to grab control of the series. The Hawks are the number one seed in the East and have struggled offensively in their opening series against the Nets as well as this series. They are healthy going into this game Paul Milsap returned in the previous game and may be healthy enough so that the Hawks can return to their 60 win season form. For the Hawks to win tonight they must return to their offensive prowess that they showed during the season. Jeff Teague and Dennis Schroder must continue to attack the pain so that they can create outside shots for their teammates. For the Wizards to win this game Bradley Beal must remain aggressive on the offensive end of the floor, yes Wall is returning but it remains to be seen how effective he can be coming off his injury. Nene also has to return to his game 3 performance, he has not played well this series. Otto Porter Jr. has been a pleasant surprise for the Wizards in the playoffs and should continue with his confident play in this game.

In the west the Warriors and Stephen Curry returned to form in game 4. He had a dominant performance and seemed to regain his prolific shooting form scoring 33 points in a blowout victory against the Grizzlies on Monday. A change in strategy was the difference in game 4. The Warriors finally committed to doubling Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph leaving Tony Allen open for shots. Allen struggles with his outside shot and it was evident in game 4. The Grizzlies were also not making shot throughout the game. Mike Conley did not have the same impact in game 4 like he had in game 3. The Warriors found their offense from behind the arc and will need to continue this for game 5. Lets see if the Grizzlies can return to their defensive and rebounding dominance to gain a stranglehold on this series. The must also refocus their efforts to keep Curry and Klay Thompson from impacting this game on the offensive end.

With both series at the pivotal game 5, it will be interesting to see who will be able to gain control of their respective series. 82% of game 5 winners usually go on to win the series.
