The Brooklyn Nets were coming off an embarassing loss to the New York Knicks Wednesday night as they entered the Barclays Center Friday to play the Pistons. They started the game a little off on most of their shots but battled to end the first 22-22.

In the second quarter Brooklyn started to officially take over by shooting seven straight 3-pointers, including Mirza Teletovic’s four 3’s in that span. He made six in the game. The Nets spread offense and sharp shooting from beyond the arc allowed the Nets to go up by as much as 22 points in a game that the Pistons never posed a threat to the Nets.

Brooklyn was 15-31 from 3-point land and cruised on to claim their 15th straight win at home. Brooklyn has just been on fire at home lately and can only play    hard the rest of the way in hopes that Chicago or Toronto falls allowing them to win home court advantage in the playoffs.

When asked about their impressive home court play this year Paul pierce said,”You feel comfortable when you have dinner at your house, rather than when you go to someone else’s house and don’t know what their going to cook.” I don’t know what Pierce has been cooking, but the rest of the league should definitely make some themselves. Pierce had 17 on the night joining six other Nets to reach double digits.

Brooklyn remains 2 1/2 games behind Toronto and Chicago who both won their games respectively. The Nets shot 60% from the field and head into another favorable matchup Saturday night against the Sixers.
