Madison Square Garden: The Knicks open the 2017-18 season on the road against the Oklahoma City Thunder, and former Knicks Carmelo Anthony.  The Knicks are looking to Kristaps Porzingis to be the leader of the team. Porzingis has shown he’s capable of carrying the scoring load. In the first two games he’s averaging 30 point and 10 rebounds a game. The major question for the Knicks is who will emerge to help Prozingis?

During the off-season the Knicks resigned Tim Hardaway Jr, to help provide an offensive punch.  Hardaway has struggled in the first two game, getting acclimated with his new role. Against the Thunder , Hardaway got into foul trouble early  which affected his play. In game two facing the Pistons, with his father (Tim Hardaway) in the building his struggles continued. Unless Hardaway can get on track the team will continue to struggle.

Michael Beasley the former number two over all pick in the draft has been a present surprise. Beasley is known for his ability to score, the team will need him to be consistent coming off the bench. Enes Kanter had 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Knicks, who played without rookie Frank Ntilikina, the No. 8 pick from France who sprained his left ankle in practice Friday.

Currently the Knicks are winless on the season that includes the preseason.
