The NY Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets played for their second regular season meeting; the Nets look to win for the second time against their NY rival.

D’Angelo Russell started off the game with back-to-back treys which gave the Nets a much needed jolt of energy; followed by Joe Harris who also knocked down two treys of his own. The Nets were off to a great offensive start, but so were the Knicks who also took and made shots. Both teams ended the 1st quarter tied at 26.

As the 2nd quarter was underway the Knicks picked up the offensive enthusiasm, but with turnovers and missed shots the Nets were outscored by 8 points in the 2nd quarter. Caris LeVert could not find his rhythm as he continued to struggle from the court.

It would only get worse in the 3rd quarter as the lead for the Knicks continued to grow. The Nets trailed by 25 in the middle of 3rd with LeVert still struggling from the floor. The Nets would not be able to regain their composure as the game continued.

The Knicks defeat the Nets 115-96.

Jared Dudley finished the game with 0 points, as he was unable to make any of his 4 field goal attempts.

While LeVert came up big in the first Knicks meeting, tonight he was cold from the floor. He finished with an underwhelming 2 points, 2-11 from the field.

Russell and Hollis-Jefferson combined for 29 points and 10 boards, while Napier added 12 points and Dinwiddie finished with 17.
