Detroit Michigan: New York Jets drafted Sam Darnold with third overall pick in the 2018 NLF Draft.  Darnold won the starting job over Tyrod Taylor during the preseason. Starting his first game on the road against the lions, Darnold first pass in the NFL was a pick six. He would bounce back, showing poise to lead the Jet to 48 to 17 victory over the Lions. Finishing the game 16 of 21 for 198 yards and two touchdowns.

The Jets dominated the Lion in all phases offensively, Defensively and Special Teams. In his Jets debut WR Andre Roberts return his first punt 43 yards to paydirt. The longest return since week 12 of 2015. Robert wasn’t done, he followed that up with a 78 yard touchdown run.

Defensively the Jets had five interception in the game. The most sense October 3, 1999 against the Denver Broncos. Darren Lee, Jamal Adams and entire defense prove to be more than the Lions could handle. The Jets were hitting on all cylinders. Total domination of the Sam Bradford and Detroit Lions
