EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ- The New York Giants(0-2) will face the Houston Texans(2-0) today at MetLife Stadium. Houston is surprising some people this year by starting the year off with two wins. Lead by a strong defensive line with JJ. Watt and Brian Cushing, Eli Manning will have to be careful with the football in his hands. JJ Watt lead the league in QB hits last season.

On Offense the Texans will be missing their star running back, Arian Foster, who has been declared out for today’s game. Foster who has an injury prone past was looking 100% the first two games of the season by carrying the load a total of 55 times for 241 yds and a touchdown. Texans backup Alfred Blue will start in Foster’s place.

For the Giants, Odell Beckham will miss his third game of the season with his hamstring injury that has haunted him since his arrival to Giants training camp. Linebacker Jon Beason said during the week that his foot was feeling a lot better since the Cardinals game, but he will also not be playing today.

The Giant’s passing game showed improvement last week and hope to continue that again today against the Texans 21st ranked defense against receivers this year. The Giants should be able to pass against this defense if they can limit the amount of pressure on the quarterback.

Prediction: Giants 17 Texans 14
