EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The New York Giants training camp is well underway, and the overall intensity has been very high. This has made for some entertaining battles during practice, and the players seem to be embracing the more assertive physicality.

Sunday afternoon, one battle in particular that caught the eye was between Bobby Hart and Jason Pierre-Paul. The two were really doing a good job of getting after each other. You could see that Hart was making an effort to be more aggressive in his blocking. At the podium after practice, Hart talked about how he had worked in the off-season on his hands at the point of attack.

The Giants’ offensive line is a group that has been talked about a lot in the off-season. New York desperately needs the offensive line to get stronger over training camp. Hart along with teammate Ereck Flowers, will be looked upon to help take the Giants’ offense to the next level.

Eli Manning was sacked 21 times last season, which was the third lowest total in the NFL. However, the Giants rushing attack struggled all season long. Hart and Flowers will be key components in helping improve New York’s 29th ranked rushing attack.
