His Instagram name, though oddly worded and arranged, explains his exploits on the basketball court. My interpretation of his name is that scoring is easy, his shot is money, and by all accounts, he is one of the sharpest shooters in the league from anywhere on the court.

For the Oklahoma City Thunder, his return from injury means change, change for the good. In his absence, the team missed the playoffs for the first time in five years. His dynamic partner, Russell Westbrook, did all he could to keep the team afloat and competitive; however, one lone star could not lead the team to the playoffs.

Mr. MoneySniper’s combination of size and skill cannot be compared. At 6’11 he handles the basketball like a guard, with his length his shot is extremely difficult to defend, and his love and passion for the game is unquestionable.

The former MVP returns to uncertainty, a new coach, new teammates, and the most pressing question of all, his future with this team. With the free agency period fast approaching, several pictures of him supporting his hometown football team, and star players preparing to recruit him, should the Thunder feel any pressure? Will the EasyMoneySniper stay to finish what he started in OKC?

With all these questions, one thing is certain, the NBA missed his presence. Seeing him assassinate defenders nightly was a mere dream last season. He needs to be back on the floor performing at a high level. To the other teams in the NBA, his return his imminent. Preparation and game plans to defend number 35 will once again be a nightly priority.

If I could write the story about game one of the 2015-2016 NBA season, he would score 60 points and have of those videogame-like nights, but since I cannot predict the future or control it, I can only end with this message: Kevin Durant is back.

"Basketball is my favorite sport, I like the way they dribble up and down the court." "I wish I was a little bit taller, I wish I was a baller." "Last week messed around and got a triple double." I write about basketball sometimes and then I try to go play....
