March 20, 2015, Queens, NY  The Nets took a massive step in the right direction by beating the Milwaukee Bucks 129-127 in triple overtime, spoiling coach Jason Kidd’s return to Barclays.  This is the second triple overtime game this season.  Back in November, the Bucks eked out a 4-point win in Jason Kidd’s first game at the Barclays as an opposing coach.  Joe Johnson was back to being Joe “Cool” as he hit a big triple late in the fourth quarter that tied the game at 101. He repeated this feat in the second overtime by hitting a game-tying three.  The third overtime belonged to Brook Lopez who played 42 minutes and achieved his first 30+ points and 15+ rebound game: 32 points on 65% shooting along with 18 rebounds and 5 blocks.

As you can imagine, some of the players had to play major minutes.  Thaddeus Young played 53 minutes; Bojan Bogdanovic played 49 minutes; Joe Johnson played 48 minutes; and Jarrett Jack played 41 minutes.  A very tired Nets team will visit the Indiana Pacers who lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers 95-92. The Boston Celtics lost 101-89 to the San Antonio Spurs, and the Charlotte Hornets were losing at the time of this report.  The Nets are now just 1 ½ games behind both the Celtics and Pacers.  By this time next week, they could very well be in the 8th slot.  It seems like Coach Lionel Hollins has regained his trust in Joe Johnson and Brook Lopez, and that’s a good thing since they are two of the Nets most essential players.  Let the playoff push being.
